From the moment I walked in, a certain associate, a long-time employee there, made me feel unwelcome. His hostile demeanor and reluctance to work with me on a loan for my two items were immediately off-putting. It felt less like he was there to help the community and more like he was trained to low-ball every offer. I tried to provide receipts for my items, but he dismissed them. Instead, he pulled up prices from a commercial website that seemed to be a wholesale site for businesses, not what a regular consumer would pay on Best Buys public website. I knew then that arguing would be futile; Ive encountered that kind of animosity before, and it never leads anywhere productive. A Crucial Tip for Your Wallet Heres the most important takeaway: Pawnopoly charges a 25% interest rate to get your items back. Compare that to Eagle Pawn, which charges a more reasonable 12-15%, and Silver Dollar, which is 15-18%. Youll save yourself time, money, and frustration by heading to one of the others. M Scott Miracle A fun place to shop. I once thought of a pawn shop as a dark, seedy place to buy or sell questionable merchandise. Gateway Pawn changed my mind. They have a bright, organized sales floor with a variety of good used and new items. I go there mostly for tools and guns but end up considering TVs or laptops or things I didnt know I wanted! It is always interesting to see what they have. The staff has always been nice to me. It is a family owned place too so you support local folks when you shop there.

My grandson 11 wanted to buy a necklace for his girlfriend thought it wss bad idea i think it was the owner joined in but in a very tasteful manner. It was comical. Besides that I bought necklace for me and a beautiful bracelet.

Kristin Raine Squash Blossom is my absolute favorite store in Atlanta! Every time I wear a piece from there, I get compliments (no exaggeration). The clothing & jewelry are so unique & timeless. Plus I can wear everything off the rack! The owner Lisa has an amazing eye. My S.O. now knows to get me a gift card here each year for birthdays ;)

Elizabeth Campbell We have been so pleased with the quality of the work done by the Brass Ring over the years, but recently we had an experience of seeing the breadth of Tony’s talents. A co-worker of mine had an antique oil lamp from England that was in sad shape. My husband and i took the lamp to the Brass Ring, just to “freshen up”, but Tony did more than that – he transformed the piece by adding the missing glass panels, fabricating missing pieces, and wiring it into a workable electrical lamp. It was so much fun watching my colleague’s reaction! Another job was an antique ink tray that now looks brand new. I know the work was tedious as it is very intricate and ornate, but the Brass Ring is always up to the challenge. When I first visited the shop, they were located downtown but are now in a bigger space very close to Savannah River Brewery. They now have space to display items for sale – not just polished brass and silver, but cool art, 3D creations, and collectables! Love this local business ~

Nina Morena I’ve been planning to get my grills once I finished my invisiline journey. Atlanta Custom Gold Grillz lived up to their name. Got my grills the next day (less than 24 hours). Please note they are a cash only business. The service I received was great. I’ll be back for my next set.
