denice perdue Lani Skipper was the Guardian Ad Litem on the custody case for our 3 children. She did an exceptional job of advocating for our kids during this very long and difficult process. She was kind, professional, and helpful to us, but made it clear her priority was always the children. Lani did a lot of investigation and many interviews to learn everything she could, before she determined what to recommend to the judge. We did not always agree with all the decisions and outcomes in our case. (Every parent wants to get their own way in these situations.) But we did feel Lani was fully informed and understood the situation clearly because of her investigative “legwork” on our case. And now that it is over and the dust has settled, we realize Lani’s unbiased and thoughtful handling of our case was truly in the best interest of our children.
