Barrow County Tax Commissioner - Winder (GA)

1 /5 KiKi X: Every time I come down here, the service is atrocious and the people are rude and simply do not care. They don’t pay attention to what they are doing and put their clientele in stressful positions. I know this job is difficult because I work THE EXACT SAME JOB in a different county. This is disgraceful. If the tax commissioner allows this type of service at the tag office, then Jessica Garrett needs to be voted out and replaced with someone who will hold their community to a higher standard.

5 /5 Freddie Barrett: These ladies are all amazing! They are willing to help out with any questions no matter when I call. I’ve had to leave a message a few times but have always received a call back within an hour or so. Even through these ridiculous times of a pandemic, they were the fastest dmv I’ve been to! Definitely 5 star service!

1 /5 Kay C.: Poor customer serv...Employees talking/laughing about personal business while customers stand in line waiting to pay bills. Interactions are less than pleasant, feels like Im interrupting/inconveniencing them to do their job. Also, charging $6 to pay a bill is just greedy and ridiculous. Instead of being rude, unhelpful, and dismissive. They ought to update their system to allow online payments and be more modern like orher counties.

5 /5 Charles Ashburn: The staff and officials with this agency are dedicated to the public. Always pleasant. Only had to phone them over the years a few times but can get thru to a real person very quickly. Federal Government employees could learn something from these folks

1 /5 Brittany Miller: Debra is one of the rudest people we have had the misfortune of dealing with. The people at this office are rude, demeaning, do not care about their clients whatsoever. Furthermore, they try to right off their errors as the customers fault. Customer service is terribly lacking. DO BETTER.
