1 /5 Sean Schwartz: I will not go back. They first showed communication between staff and doctor seems not occur. Example of this is that I was told by the doctor that for me to get a renewal of a specific prescription I need to come in . The conversation was via My Chart.
I was told by the doctor to schedule the appt. I did this, showed up and the nurse asked why I was even there. I should not have to be the one that communicates and updates the staff between doctor and team. They stated in my clinical notes that I was rude and sarcastic. I think that is expected considering the fact they were not communicating with each other for starters.
That same nurse who wrote in my clinical notes that I was rude and sarcastic also should be glad I didnt get upset when she tried to take blood and went through the vein on the first attempt and then kept jabbing around it. It took her more than 3 attempts with one arm and still failed to get in the vein and keep the blood flowing to the tubes.
She finally after multiple attempts with one arm, to finally change arms and use my left arm.
The doctor came in with a bad attitude and would not even look directly at me. Acted as if she was having a bad day. I tried making jokes to help lighten the mood, but she wrote in my clinical notes that I was rude, childish and she was not in the mood.
I got the impression from the doctor that it was a inconvenience to have to see me. She ran through a bunch of items and acted more like she was reading a teleprompter and was interested in not being there.
My appointment was set for 8:40 that morning. They did not see me till almost 9:30 and the doctor seeing me around a quarter till ten. In the clinical notes, the doctor stated I made her late for her appt. after that.
I can say that if go to the other Atrium clinics I have had a much better experience. The current physician there is not a good representative of the health care team and I will not be going back there.
