1 /5 jyoti jetwani: This company doesnt even deserve a star!!! My client was referred to FBC mortgage from the builder in order to get the incentives and it was the WORST experiences ever!!! Greg, Tiffany and Veronica are EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! They lack respect for others and communication skills. They never answer the phone, never respond in a timely manner to emails or phone calls, never give correct information and most of all they are never on the same page with each other!!! Just crazy!!! I do not recommend this company at all!! They made my clients first home buying experience horrible!!!

1 /5 Teara Jones: If I could post 0 stars, I would. My client was referred to FBC Mortgage by a builder and the experience was absolutely horrible from the beginning. My client worked with Jim Lewis and communication was horrible. I have never in my career dealt with someone like this. He barely communicated issues with my client! They sat on my client’s file for weeks despite us urging them to get started earlier due to the nature of the file. Jim assured us that we would close on time and that was not the case. We had a ton of delays that could’ve been avoided if communication was up to par and file was worked earlier. We literally had issues up to closing and the day after. Thank God we were able to close before my client had to be out of her apartment. I will never recommend FBC or Jim Lewis to anyone looking to purchase a home.

1 /5 Dickson Alicea: Unfortunately I gave a star because I can not give 0. Disclosure…. This may not be your experience but for me it was horrible. No communication, No emails not in the same page…. Nothing at all. Yes I was asked multiple times to provide forms but this always happened at the end of the day. I was able to prove the forms within hours but yet took forever to Underwriting to look at the forms. I was without a home for 2 weeks with a special cerebral palsy son, wife going thru Chemotherapy and yet I was living in different places due to the incompetence of this company. At the end I switch companies, please….. remember the incentives is not worth the hassles. I will not mention names to keep this professional but you have been warned.

5 /5 Jen: Best folks to work with! I was concerned in the beginning based upon these reviews but boy was I pleasantly surprised how wonderful Jim and his whole team was to work with. I had a closing in less than 24 days from signing the purchase agreement with a builder. I was all lined up with another mortgage lender but FBC was the builders preferred lender and I got all the way from pre-approval, loan approved, to closing within that 24 days as we just closed yesterday on my house. The best advise to people is be organized about all the paperwork you as the buyer need to provide the lender as that is the most important part of the process because without you providing the documents in a timely manner your loan cannot be underwritten. Its not FBCs fault if you dont make it a top priority to get requested necessary documents back to them as quickly as possible and this goes for ANY lender.. 5 stars working with this team and wouldnt hesitate to use them again in the future. Thanks for helping me get my house in such a short time period.
