1 /5 Tanisha Renee Bouchelion: People write reviews when they are REALLY DISSATISFIED, really pleased, or when they get incentives to do so. I am not being pleased or incentivized in the least. Would not recommend. I was with AAdvantage five years. They used to be okay, RECENTLY BAD OFF!
STORY
I didnt realize that over the course of 3 months AAdvantage Insurance Agency made an error that overcharged my account by OVER $3000. This was directly through my routing/acct number. Unlike with a credit card, I cant easily change the numbers or quickly get the money refunded to me by the bank while things are sorted out. Lesson learned.
I left AAdvantage JAN15th due to an entirely DIFFERENT financial error they had made and I found a better fit. (AAdvantage chose to set the policy to end late Jan. )
Then FEB2 they charged me for FEB coverage. They did this well after cancellation. We noticed the DEFICIT & reviewed our finances. Thats how we discovered AAdvantage had TWO insurance companies charging our accounts for coverage NOV2020 - FEB2021. Totalling over $3000.
AAdvantage first tried to explain to me how the errors were my own fault. I explained my case and mentioned that Im vaguely familiar with insurance laws and how to involve the Comissioner.
They quickly acknowledged making the mistakes, but do NOT expect to refund us in full!
According to AAdvantage: Mercury will refund us 100% of what they took, nothing for suffering. Kepler wants to partially repay us.
I made my rebuttal & request to AAdvantage and asked them to update me with Keplers response. Its been 10 days and counting since we had that convo & nothing! Crickets!
As far as my familys missing $3000...I have yet to receive a dime back. Nothing from the bank or from ANY of the insurance companies involved.
I dont know HOW or WHEN or they plan to refund me. I have been going straight to AAdvantages voicemail and I havent heard from them all week!
Im not going to detail all the things that I defaulted on, cancelled, and missed out on because of this. I will just say the things weve had to endure Nov2020 to now FEB13 to just keep afloat disturbs my gut.
AAdvantage has offered nothing for their role in creating this mess. Not to handle our inconveniences. Not a returned phone call. Not even an apology. 5 years of good service did not outweigh the amount of time, money, and peace they are disrupting in my life November thru Now.
