Truist Financial - Miami (FL)

1 /5 Christina Williams: Tried to scam us using this number. Its a valid Truist number but the REAL customer service confirmed no calls were made today to us from this number. Had us download an app. Got into our banking and asked us to transfer 2k to Cash App. I immediately started shaking as I realized he had all our banking information and was a SCAMMER. I called the REAL Truist and theyre freezing the account to investigate fraud. Be very careful. All of this started with a call to fix a Facebook issue. Keep your head in the game. These scammers are out thick and trick you easily.

1 /5 Austin Stockbridge: This phone number woke me up at 8am claiming to be my bank (which isnt even Truist bank) and stating I had fraudulent charges on my account. I stupidly gave them a ton of my personal information before realizing it was definitely fraud. They asked for all the info on my card, for my SSN, they asked me security questions, they even texted me verification codes that appeared to be from my actual bank. They were very convincing. After I hung up on them and called my real bank, this number called me 4 more times, then another number called me 4 *more* times, and then a private number called me twice. Do not fall for this. I have to freeze my credit now.

1 /5 David Grier: PLEASE be aware, whoever calls you from this number they are trying to scam you. Do not give them your information til they can identify with 100% certainty that they are with Truist. Likely though, they are not. BE AWARE

1 /5 Satoshi Yamamoto: I got a phone call from this exact number saying that I have an account with them and someone used my account to buy 9 guns, resulting in getting attention from national security or homeland security. However I don’t have an account with them. The bad thing is that since the guy called from this exact number so they have a scammer inside. I am really confused and I am telling you that you CANNOT trust them.

1 /5 Paul Tsilvy: The worst experience I have ever had. You get an overseas person who doesnt speak English. If there is any stress at all on the call, the line mysterious starts making noise and they hang up on you. They are sitting on my money and wont release it. It is to the point of lawyers and Better Business Complaint. What an awful company.
