1 /5 Robert Bass: Well, Chris is a lazy price of work. I contacted him in over a month ago to requote my current insurance, was Lighthouse and now Slide. Hes beat around the bush and made ZERO effort to get a lower insurance rate or even update the current insurance with the wind mitigation that I had done. Ive done all the leg work for him and hes done nothing to help. Always an excuse IF I can even get a hold of him. I do not recommend Smithers Insurance, stay away

5 /5 Eric Fann: During a recent deal, I initially was working with another insurance agency that was recommended by the “loan guys” who left out an important detail and gave me an incorrect quote off by nearly a grand. Chris Smithers literally helped push this to closing. He was super fast with his accurate policy and also getting emails off to my realtor/bank. very knowledgeable and professional. He made me feel comfortable asking my rookie questions and always made sure to let me know to contact via text, phone, emails for whatever and whenever I need. super cool and important as a rookie knowing I just rely on the Smithers team to handle matters quickly. Definitely 5 stars highly recommended.

1 /5 Sheryl Broglin: I contacted them because they handle the insurance for the company I work for. After multiple attempts via phone and email regarding a cancellation notice on a brand new policy I was told they were working with the insurance company and waiting for a response. (Dont bother calling or emailing because they are unresponsive) After receiving a refund check I contacted the insurance company myself. They never received anything from Smithers. My advice ... Don’t waste your time.

1 /5 Adam Campana: If you have the unfortunate luck of having Chris as your insurance agent I’m sorry for you. I previously had him as an agent and 90% of the time I had to reach out to my insurance company directly because of the lack of communication from Chris and his team. Live and learn.
