5 /5 A Castellano: We went to sell some items because my sister is struggling financially and her car is about to die any day. We need cash quickly because soon she will have absolutely no transportation and we are several hours away from each other, if she needed help.
We went to Chris on a Saturday afternoon shortly before he was set to close. It was a little bit hard to find the place with the GPS, but I called and got the exact building to go to. It is located on the second floor through some elevators inside the building that has a hair salon and a coffee shop.
We were welcomed very professionally and even offered water. Chris was absolutely amazing. We were treated with respect, and never felt like we were getting taken advantage of at any point.
Chris took a look at my many items and was very honest and explained that because they were name brand jewelry, (LeVian, Effy, NaHoKu) I would do better selling them online. I explained I was in the process of trying to sell on eBay that but that it was taking longer since everything would have to go to an authenticator. Ebay was holding on to payments and we needed cash now. I could tell Chris was hesitant to purchase pieces on their weight only- because he knew they were designer pieces that were worth more. I feel not everyone in the business is this honest or upfront, and some people simply don’t have a conscience.
In the end, I did sell a couple of necklaces and pendants and felt that I got a good price for my items. Chris did not know the situation (we didn’t explain things), but he also could not have imagined how much he helped my sister today. Every penny counts right now for her.
I would highly recommend this business. They will not take advantage of you in any way and you will be happy with the transaction results.
