1 /5 Brittany Thomas: Did business with this company a few years ago for flooring in my bedroom and hallway. The communication was terrible and it took them awhile to get the job done. Currently getting our floors done again and wanted to give them another try and it’s been about two weeks now trying to get them out to start the floors. If you guys do not want business just let customers know instead of giving people the run around and not responding to calls or texts. I do not recommend, really unprofessional and quite disrespectful.

1 /5 Felton Martin: I wanted to replace the flooring in my entire 4 bedroom home. I went to McIver Flooring and found a good selection. I was able to take home samples and was never asked for my name or phone number. Someone was supposed to come the following day to measure. The next day I called late afternoon to see whether they were still coming. I was told someone would be there the next day. I never heard from them again.

5 /5 Sal E. Mander: We cannot say enough good things about Ernie and Amber McIver and the job they did putting hardwood flooring in our kitchen! We already had traditional oak flooring throughout the house, but we had concerns about using it in the kitchen. After 30 years of wear and accidental spills on the wood flooring elsewhere in our house, we knew the hardwood would be fine in our kitchen as well. Ernie and Amber are both extremely kind individuals and are a true pleasure to deal with. Watching Ernie work was like watching an artisan…yes, he’s that good. Ernie was able to secure the same grade of flooring that we had used so long ago and he matched the grain patterns perfectly. He quickly laid the oak flooring out, nailed it in, sanded, stained and put down the first coat of finish, all in one day. He made custom kick plates and trim pieces to match our floors and cabinetry…they look beautiful!! Even though I had removed all of the previous base boards and trim…expecting to reinstall them myself after Ernie had finished…I was surprised to see that he had found where I had placed them and had them installed again so quickly that I hadn’t noticed he had done so until I was making a mental note as to what I had to do next after he had finished. The care that Ernie took in moving our major appliances and returning them into position was much appreciated…there was nary a mark on our new floors. In addition, there was a damaged area in our great room where an old recliner had dug into the flooring cutting dark, deep grooves in our existing floor. We were just asking for Ernie’s advice as to how we could bet tackle the damage ourselves…but he was quick to tell us that he’d be glad to fix it…and not only did he remove the grooves by sanding, he also custom matched the stain and put a top coat of polyurethane on it…to the point that neither my wife nor I can see where the damage had been. We don’t know how he did it without any sign—or feel—of any work having been done in that area, but darned if he didn’t get it done!! We are so very happy that we chose McIver’s for our flooring work and we can, without hesitation, recommend them fully!
