1 /5 Farrah Loyed: They didnt explain any of the process or finance charges or anything to Me at all. My preparer was very slow and didnt tell me any of the pertinent information for the loan. I was highly dissatisfied and will not be recommending them to anyone. And then they only approved me for a tiny amount which didnt make it worth anyways especially with the amount I am supposed to be getting back.

1 /5 Madison S: Its a scam!!! I had to explain to the tax preparer what a Childcare credit was otherwise I would have missed out on almost $900. I needed an advance and only got approved for $750 even though Im getting back almost 10k?? When filing fees are almost 700!!! THATS STRAIGHT UP THEFT. Hope JH burns to the ground. How do you take advantage of struggling people like that and feel GOOD about it?! Now Im trying to track my refund and the app is asking for a document number, which isnt in any of my documents. And the IRS site isnt matching any of my info! Im NEVER FILING THROUGH JH AGAIN! Doing it myself again from now on. THEYRE THIEVES, SCAM ARTISTS, AND HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEYRE DOING.

I had to explain to the "preparer" to file for the child care credit. I have two dependents, that should be a given to file for that credit! SHE HAD NO IDEA WHAT IT WAS. Now Ive been trying to track my refund and IRS isnt able to match the info because I specifically said to file Head of Household. SHE FILED ME SINGLE. WHEN I HAVE TWO DEPENDENTS. WHAT?!?! I needed the advance for an emergency which is the ONLY reason I didnt do my taxes myself. Which Ive been doing since I was 18 and have had NO PROBLEMS UNTIL NOW. I only got approved for $750 OUT OF A 10K RETURN. THEN TO PAY $700 IN FILING FEES WHEN THIS "PREPARER" HAS NO IDEA WHAT SHES DOING?!?! NO. I want a refund on my filing fees since I will have to do an amended return. HIRE REAL PREPARERS. AND STOP CHARGING STRUGGLING PEOPLE OUT THE BUTT FOR YOUR CRAPPY FILING SERVICE ALL BECAUSE YOU OFFER A BS ADVANCE. IM TELLING EVERYONE TO NEVER EVER USE THIS SERVICE. GO RIP OFF OTHER PEOPLE. IM DONE. I WANT MY REFUND FOR MY FILING FEES. WORST TAX SERVICE IVE EVER DEALT WITH.
