2 /5 Anna Lee Grymes: I think Jennifer can help with more basic wills but when we had a more complex case with a caregiver agreement needed, we got really poor advice. After some red flags, we consulted other elder law attorneys and learned that the way Jennifer instructed us to handle this agreement was actually tax fraud. And that parts of my mother’s will were done incorrectly. We are so relieved we consulted someone else before making any big decisions financially. Also, we would often go weeks at a time without responses to basic questions and then when I confronted Jennifer about it she was dismissive and rude saying our expectations for communication were too high. When I emailed clear proof that we often had to wait weeks and sometimes a month for acknowledgment of messages from her staff, she did come back on that and apologize… but to gaslight us like that without her even looking into it first was unprofessional. At the end of the day she did refund us what we had spent with her since we did have to seek counsel elsewhere which I really appreciated. If you have more complex needs or if you’re needing assistance with an active issue that needs more timely support, she might not be the right fit for you.
