1 /5 John Doe: Mr Beardsley and Ms Lapp are very unprofessional and completely incompetent. They had no idea about a write off of business income taxes for a separate state return. They shouted "tax cheat" and "unethical" remarks quote, unquote. Dont waste your time here. Go to DGina Tax Services in Eustis and work with true professionals at the same price as HR Block. Very disappointed and a waste of time and gas money driving back and forth to meet these difficult people at HR Block.

1 /5 Tommy Boise: Absolutely horrible experience here. Tax preparers here are VERY incompetent for any return beyond a EZ, basic return. They WILL NOT help you in maximizing your deductions or evaluating your expenses and will you a tax cheat and unethical. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra money somewhere else if you have an LLC or write offs with a business, mortgage, depreciation etc. Avoid this location as well as Mt Dora and Eustis. They will blame you, the customer, for holding them up because they are raking in fees on each tax return for commission dollars. If you complain, youll be thrown out of their office and called unethical.

1 /5 Kevin Jones: I came in today after driving 40 miles round trip with scheduled appointment. Mr Jeff Beardsley and Ms Marguerite Lapp refused to do my taxes since I asked for my customary home office deduction. Ive been writing off my home office since 1989. Jeff demanded that I leave the office after I showed him the rules on the IRS website. It doesnt have to be a 1099 only. My tax attorney said that companies reduce pay for working from home and all expenses can be wrote off of the office is in a separate room in the home. Mr. Beardsley yelled and screamed and was totally unprofessional. He said " heres my manager name and e mail and get out; youre unethical." I will never come back.

1 /5 Alyssa Sloane: This review is for Jeff. Today I went in with a simple question, walked up feeling humiliated. I am a hard working woman. I am not just starting adulthood thought I look young. I’ve been adulting. And though not nearly as long as you, it’s still no reason to be made fun of saying “ I know you’re just starting adulthood” no sir I’m not. But then proceeded to laugh at me because I go to look up a site that YOU told me to look up to find my answer to my problem. Saying “ this young generation and their phones” “ living life in their phones.” Therefore having the one guest you have and your front desk lady laughing. Where’s your professionalism Mr. Jeff. Because it sure wasn’t showing this morning.
