5 /5 NATES MOM: My stepmother passed away and her home was sold at a foreclosure auction. I had investors calling me non stop for a week leading up to the auction. They were offering me small amounts of money to sign paperwork giving them the house and me some pocket change. I had never been in that situation before but knew enough to know they were not being honest and their offers were weighted extremely to their benefit. My situation had a few difficult and uncertain sides to it and I wasn’t sure anything could be done.
