1 /5 Plenti Nough: My husband has a business in Live Oak and I will be there soon. Since I would be moving to Live Oak and prefer to do business in person I thought I would find an Allstate agent in the area of which there is not but there is First South Insurance brokerage.
So far so good until I sent an email stating to please remove collision/comprehensive from the 2 older vehicles on my policy and to add a new truck 2017 (new to us). Then to my dismay and when we needed Comprehensive after a road trip and a major crack from road debris developed on the trucks windshield, surprisingly the truck did not have Comprehensive coverage.
I have never in all my 45+ years of driving ever had to pay for windshield replacement. Why was this? Because the Comp/Col was not added onto the new vehicle. Why? and What?!!!
So I will take responsibility for the fact that I put my trust in the business/Kim Landrum and did not properly review my policy. But, and this is a big BUT, when does the business take responsibility for their over site? When do they simply apologize for there mistake and great inconvenience to the customer?
I called and was told they were not able to log into my account. Really? Then I called again and received no resolution or apology.
I did not badger but sent the email with the original request for adding the truck. WHO WOULD NOT ADD COMP/COL on a NEW VEHICLE?
I do not tolerate arrogance and avoidance from any business and this is what you will get at First South.
BEWARE! And I absolutely Do Not recommend this business.
