1 /5 Horacio Ballinas: Consumer beware: Fidelity used to be a good company, with great customer service. Not any longer. They messed up the amount of taxes withheld in one of my accounts. I contacted them via customer service and they simply stopped offering updates via their Secure Message (I was really polite in my communications). I went to their branch as they used to care for their customers, but the people that used to work there moved on elsewhere. The people that stayed are terrible and do not want to help you at all. Terrible company! I am moving my accounts elsewhere. They simply do not care.

I talked to other investment companies about purchasing a financial product, but things did no go well at all. I will save you the details. 1 /5 Mark T: Have been a long-term customer. Stopped in to drop off a sizeable check and open an account with a person. The poorly dressed staff member took the check for the deposit and said that "I could open the account by sitting down at a table and using the tablet." The same thing that I could have done at home. Customer service people were minimal, did not look professional, and was not professional. I had called to schedule an appointment, but the phone went into robot world and I hung up. Im considering a complete switch to C. Schwab. Parking is ok. The offices are on the 2nd floor over a restaurant. It is not a good experience for an investor to visit the center.
