1 /5 Austin Bennett: Canceled our auto Insurance apparently over a $45 "fee" unrelated to the insurance policy (which was set up on auto pay.) No notice was given to us, but we were reported to the State. I would highly recommend, not using their services.

1 /5 A N: Had a homeowners claim with FFB that ended up dragging on endlessly. Made a structural claim after an accident damaged part of the house. The claim was given to an adjuster who was extremely unresponsive. It took almost 4 months for him to write a denial (had to escalate it to his Manager multiple times as he never returned calls). On the rare occasion he did return calls, he would just usher me off of them as soon as he could siting "any questions can be answered in our denial letter" which he said they would be sending from the very first phone call I had with him, before even seeing any evidence. I finally received the denial letter upon the 5th month after shelling out about $20k to get the home repaired (repairs were needed to make habitable). All the contractors were surprised to hear the damages werent covered except for one who said FFB is hands-down the worst insurer he has to work with. The denial was claiming a technicality that the damage was caused not by the accident, but instead by aerial pollutants that were released (smoke?) and caused damage. My HO3 did not cover aerial pollutants, so they denied the claim. I appealed and they held fast to the pollution denial and shooed me off the phone as quick as they could. I had a lawyer write them a letter and then suddenly received a call apologizing for the extremely long turnaround time on the claim, the service I received, and noted that they would be reimbursing me for the damages as they were indeed covered by my plan. Sounds to me like they tried to pull a fast one and got caught. Never had such a horrible experiences with an insurance company in my life. Let the policy lapse and went elsewhere. Highly recommend people stay away! They have some great agents, but thats about where it stops.

1 /5 Ann Cappiello: This insurance company is over charging their elderly customers! My mom is paying over 6,000 a year for just house insurance! They should be ashamed of themselves! And on top of it she has to pay 60 dollars to be a member, like they ain’t ripping her off enough! We are definitely dumping them and spreading the word to all!

1 /5 Becky Sinn: My policy was canceled. I missed two payments after two years of timely payments due to incredible personal circumstances. I did not get a phone call to warn me that my policy would be canceled. I certainly did not get a call informing me that once cancelled, my policy would then be unreinstatable. In fact, i didnt even get an email or a letter to warn me. When I tried to reach out and pay my late bill I spoke to Rachel who assured me she would try to have the underwriter reinstate my policy, and even if he couldnt, she would call me back and let me know.. She didnt. I then called several agents at the office and left messages for a simple courtesy call back. No one called me. For a week. I finally had to call the claims number and get someone in Mississippi to transfer me to the Gainesville office where someone finally answered. They delivered the news that FFBI would not reinstate my policy. This person said they would call me back and let me know, but I had to call her. Thank you all, a simple courtesy call wouldve allowed me to arrange a new company to provide me with auto insurance a week ago. The disregard with which I was treated by this company will ensure that I will never recommend them to anyone.

1 /5 Johnny Magpie: Terrible, terrible, terrible customer service. My family has been with Farm Bureau for years but that will soon change. They have demonstrated blatant disregard for the coronavirus pandemic and its impacts on FB customers. I called multiple times over the past few months and have received a single call back about my issue, which was promptly shrugged off. Especially because the price of membership and high cost of insurance relative to other companies—you all should be ashamed of yourselves.
