3 /5 Ronald Williams: BEWARE OF FLAT FEE........... My experience was not bad. I learned a valuable lesson. Never pay flat fee unless you are charged. I was referred to Bridgette by a friend. I reached out and got a phone call back immediately. I hadnt been charged with anything at that point and never was. Bridgette explained to the best of her knowledge what was going on. She was pretty much on point. She said shed charge me a flat fee of $5,000. Looking back boy she worked to get that fee paid as quickly as possible (which is common for most attorneys). She never told me that even if I was never charged I wouldnt get it back. I do think that information was omitted purposely. Simply my thought because everything else was explained in detail. Well I was never charged and didnt get any of it back. No work was ever done and we only had the initial call for an extended amount of time. She used that as a point of reference to justify her starting to work for me. Which obviously wouldnt count as work because I hadnt hired her yet. It definitely wasnt as easy to contact her after I paid (which is common for most attorneys) and the 2 to 3 times I spoke to her, after I paid, they were brief. Literally less then 10 minutes. However, Bridgette was knowledgeable and I would recommend her actually. I have no hard feelings, I guess I just didnt ask the right questions and do my due diligence. My advice to anyone is dont pay a flat fee until you know youre charged with something. I hope this helps someone and you dont make the same mistake I did.
