I presented Jeff with the details of my financial situation, including the total amount of income I needed to live my desired lifestyle. As my wife and I were both retired, I was interested in income with preservation of capital (as opposed to capital appreciation without income). Jeff knew exactly what I wanted, and came up with a plan. Most importantly, he DID NOT try to sell me any inappropriate high commission investments. Little did we know attending the event would be so life changing! Following the dinner, I got a copy of Jeffs book, Turning Financial Planning Right Side Up, and read it.
