2 /5 Fred Philley: Ive been a Wells Fargo customer for over 40 years. Their online banking and bill pay is great. But when I need to actually go to the bank, as I often do to make cash deposits, the wait times have become ridiculously long due to under staffing of bank tellers. The tellers on duty do a fine job, but with 10 or more banking windows available, branch management will let people stand in a long slow line outside and around the building while providing only 1 or 2 tellers to handle transactions, and act like thats normal and OK. Its NOT OK. Its just another obvious demonstration of putting customer service in second place to profit. I am definitely looking for an alternate banking solution.
How many additional details do you need? You are only using 10% to 20% of your teller window capacity, while 80% to 90% of your customers wait in line 30 to 45 minutes to see a teller.
