5 /5 Christine Diaz: Lisa has been doing our taxes for 20+ years. We live out of state now and still have her preparing our taxes. She is knowledgeable, fair, easy to reach for questions and I cant imagine going anywhere else. I goofed one year and forgot to send her a W-2 and when the IRS contacted us months later, Lisa worked with them to have penalties and interest removed if we paid the missing tax immediately. That alone was worth having a professional do your taxes! We value our relationship with Lisa.

Kayla helped me in a pinch when i needed to move my appointment, was very accommodating. Also helped me in a non-profit organization nightmare that failed to file taxes for over 7 years. I highly recommend Lisa and her wonderful staff. Thank you ladies you are all wonderful!

1 /5 Michelle Senf: This company is formally know as Desert Rojean. My husband and I have been going to Lisa for several years now. This year, we were told that they didnt want to do our taxes since we complained last year. At first we were confused, then we recalled what the issue was, they made a $5000, error last year. They originally quoted us an estimate on how much we were getting back and when it was so low my husband questioned me about it. I wrote an email to Lisa inquiring about the dramatic difference from what we received the previous year. Lisa reviewed the return and found that my husbands out of state information did not carry over. She also indicated it changed the refund amount in our favor. When we came in to resign the returns, we saw the $5000 difference. Lisa never came out of the office, I asked if we could speak to her we were told she was with a client. That was a lie because we saw the assistant come out of her office upon our arrival and NO ONE was in there. We never received an Im sorry for the error, or a good catch nothing. I could have and would have been completely justified in complaining but we didnt! All I said was that was a huge error, when we were signing. Despite that, we took our business back to her this year only to be turned away indicating that it was me who was unsatisfied. I believe the real issue is that it was the second issue we had because of their errors and they didnt want to deal with us anymore. I mean what kind of professional makes such a huge error and will not even come out of her office to speak to you, apologize or anything. We probably shouldnt have gone back but I figured it was caught whatever. It really bothers me that she would turn away a customer because of HER own errors. So, they changed the name this year, now I wonder if perhaps Im not the only one they have screwed over and want to get away from past stigma. I rarely go online and write reviews but I felt that people should know what kind of business individual she is and the type of business she runs. Im sure some people have had very positive experiences with her but if you have complicated returns involving out of state work I would be very careful and make sure to really pay attention.

My husband and I left work early to have our taxes done and due to a major car accident on the freeway ahead of us we were slowed a bit for our 4:30pm appointment. We called to let the receptionist know that we were running late and she informed us we would have to drop off our paperwork at the front desk. I told them that was fine and apologized for the delay. They were fully aware that we were traveling from an hour away and that we were on our way. At 4:50pm we arrived (10 minutes prior to their closing time) fully prepared to drop off our paperwork. We went to the door and they were closed. No phone call to use to ensure we weren’t still on our way, no notification that they were closing early, they just left before their business hours had ended. I called to try to alert someone that we were outside and nobody answered the phone. We knocked on the door repeatedly and nobody answered. They knew we were coming and they left. We will not be returning nor will we recommend this business. They wasted our time and money and failed to communicate with us and consider our time and money spent to come out to them. Very unprofessional!
