John Dougherty Punctual with with free zoom consultation. My vibe was that he knew estate law, it seemed like he had a strong and professional presence. I’ve not met him in person and we chatted for 25 minutes. But I like him and get the sense he would be a good litigator if needed. One small oddity however was when I called the number found on google, the receptionist said there was only person in the firm. When I talked to the attorney it seems larger. Perhaps an answering service? But got an appointment same day and was professional.

They showed zero interest in hearing about my situation and immediately told me to make an appointment with the attorney, quoting a $3,500 fee—without offering any clarity on whether they would even consider taking my case. I expected at least a minimum level of courtesy and professionalism.
