1 /5 Erin Chippa: Signed up with Hartford through AARP was paying approximately $75 a month for coverage for my vehicle in California. Got my renewal notice and my premium has doubled even though Ive had no tickets no accidents and no claims they have doubled my premium by simply saying oh well thats the cost of doing business in California. I highly encourage everyone in California to dump this awful company.

1 /5 D. H.: WORKING WITH HARTFORD INSURANCE HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE. IF YOU ACTUALLY HAVE A CLAIM FOR DAMAGE TO YOUR HOME, DONT COUNT ON HARTFORD TO SWOOP IN TO HELP AND MAKE REPAIRS. COUNT ON HARTFORD TO LEAVE YOU IN LIMBO FOR MONTHS, AND WHEN THEY FINALLY DO GET BACK TO YOU TO HELP AFTER THREATS OF CONTACTING AN ATTORNEY AND THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE, THEY WILL SEND IN TERRIBLE CONTRACTORS LIKE PUMA CONSTRUCTION AND SERVICE MASTER TO BE SENT TO YOUR HOME TO START WORK, DO A TERRIBLE JOB, AND THEN NOT FINISH. FROM MINE AND MY FAMILYS EXPERIENCE, IT HAS BEEN UNBELIEVABLY TERRIBLE WITH HARTFORD INSURANCE. WE TRIED TO SAVE MONEY BY LEAVING FARMERS AND FINDING A MUCH MORE REASONABLE INSURANCE COMPANY, BUT THIS HAS BEEN A HUGE MISTAKE. JUST A WARNING - DONT USE HARTFORD!!

1 /5 Jose Flores: I Had my car fixed and the body shop.put on a cheap .frront bumper because the insurance told them..since then I Am been having problems with it..I went twice to adjusted the bumper..the shop reported to the insurance to reolaced the bumper its been almost 2 weeks and no answer..I am tired of this insurance..I wish they can forget to collect the monthly payment..I am pretty upset.
