PG&E caused the Kincade fire in 2019 which burned down our family home and the homes of so many people in the Healdsburg area. Shortly after the fire we hired the high profile legal team of Watts Guerra and worked with them for over four years. When I finally became fed up with their incompetence and, as it turns out, unethical backroom dealings with PG&E, I researched other options for attorneys. From the beginning working with Abbey Law I had a dramatically different experience. The team there returned all calls promptly, treated me with respect and with attention to all relevant details. They worked efficiently, explaining what I needed to know and doing exaclty what they said they would do. In a matter of months, the team at Abbey Law successfully resolved our case against PG&E at nearly double the amount that Watts Guerra was trying to coerce us into accepting. Everyone we worked with at Abbey Law was highly professional, ethical, transparent and willing to explain all nuances in language we could understand. They made recommendations, reviewing the pros and cons, but did not put pressure on us. My long-term disability (LTD) insurance company stopped paying my claim for no apparent reason a couple years after experiencing a stroke which left me with various cognitive issues.
