5 /5 John Buzolich: We had a great experience working with Barbara at Sonin Law in March 2020 just before the pandemic really hit. Our goal was to establish a revocable living trust mostly so that it would be as easy as possible to transfer assets quickly to the guardians of our child (now children) in the case of a terrible accident. We loved Barbaras style with easy communication and great questionnaires to help ensure we had thought through all our goals sufficiently. One huge positive for me was that she offered a menu of fixed price options for establishing a trust along with other related documents and services such as spill-over wills and helping transfer the titles of real estate. You could pick the level of service you wanted for an upfront known price. Nothing hidden and no guessing games about what it might cost. We went with the middle package which included establishing a revocable trust, establishing a pour-over will for each of us, and transferring up to two properties on our behalf. The cost for the package was reasonable and gave us a great sense of comfort when we had it finished. I chose to do most of the financial and bank account transfers on my own to fund the trust, but Sonin Law could have done that for us if we had wanted the higher service level package. Retitling our financial accounts was extremely easy once we had the certification of trust cover pages in hand. I continue to recommend Sonin Law to friends and coworkers in the area who have said they always wanted to get a trust established but had just not taken the time to get it going.
