2 /5 SeQuoia: I called this law office yesterday after reading some great reviews. The assistant who took my call was very nice ( her name started with a "L"). Patient & very empathetic. I only gave her a short summary of everything because she advised me to hold off on a lot of information due to her not being able to give illegal advice. I never received a phone call or a consultation. I received an email with five questions that I needed to answer, including a police report. The response that I received was that they were not able to assist me Because they only assists with clients who basically need surgery. Im not sure how they came about that conclusion, when no one reached out to me to get the specifics. Second I read multiple reviews with other clients who didnt even get surgery. According to Rosa the office manager, they pick and choose on which cases to take. I just spoke with her and she was a bit short to speak with. I asked her how her day was and she ignored that until I asked her a second time.
12:43pm Annie Heller call to apologize for not having the full. Facts that she needed Before she chose not to take my case and that is unacceptable. She did apologize. However, reading a bunch of the reviews, it seems like this firm went above and beyond for other clients. And I didnt even get a chance to get one phone call, to hear my whole story, not to mention, I do need surgery, but if you took the time to listen to me with a phone call, then you would have heard Everything before just deciding not to take my case.
The 2 stars are for the assistant who took my call. Because again, she had excellent customer service and I asked Rosa for her name So that I can give her a shout out, and Rosa acted as if she did not know her name and because it is an answering service. However, I was still told that someone was going to tend to me and listen to me. But I couldnt even get a phone call consultation. All I got was an email and answer five questions that I needed to answer before they chose not to take my case. In which I have neck, back, knee injuries, and so much more. I was given referrals by Annie but I will continue to look at other options on my own.
BELOW IS THE RESPONSE THAT I RECEIVED FROM Annie:
Thank you for contacting our office with regard to your personal injury case. We have reviewed the information you provided, and have determined that we will be unable to represent you, but we wanted to point you in the right direction.
Currently, our firm only takes on a small number of cases so that we can provide a very high level of service to our clients. With our current solid caseload, the cases we are accepting involve extensive bodily injuries, including broken bones and injuries requiring surgery. Obviously, our bandwidth for new cases fluctuates over time, but we hope you understand our reasons for limiting the cases we are currently taking.
However, we can highly recommend a few of Sallys colleagues who handle a wider range of personal injury cases.
I am sorry if you felt frustrated. We are a small firm so we do our best to get the information we need, evaluate the case, and then respond to each person as soon as we possibly can (usually within 24 hours) so that they can decide how to proceed forward. We never want people to feel dismissed, so I apologize! We also do not share any personal information and what you provide us is kept confidential.
When looking at the police report, the report explained there was minor damage to each vehicle, and that you declined transport to the ER, so I did not expect there to be more medical treatment beyond what you mentioned. But I am happy to take a second look at everything if that would help? If a phone call would be more helpful, we can schedule one so that I have all of the information.
