1 /5 Jasmine Quiroz: Strongly suggest seeking outside lawyers if you can afford it. They have switched my lawyer atleast 5 or 6 times, my case was a DV case in which the man physically assaulted me several times, the judge then put a protection order on me and he kept coming to my mothers home to drag me to where he was and called the police on me. Ive never been arrested prior to being here in fresno and dealing with this man. He has, however, been homeless and selling drugs on the streets for 10 years. The switching of the lawyers is very frustrating. The lack of communication prior to the court date is frustrating. On top of having to deal with the physical and mental issues this man has caused me, I cant get them to represent me properly because theres hardly any communication. The first layer I met with through them told the judge that the so called "victim" was my "baby daddy" which is incorrect and didnt even let me speak before she started speaking rudely to me. Its very confusing. Over all theres some good lawyers there and some that will not represent you properly and are jaded. I think maybe 2 of the 5 or 6 lawyers were genuinely trying to help. The rest I was just another case to. I honestly just finally gave up trying to work with them after the 3rd lawyer and started just taking the plea the judge offered because it feels pointless. Thats extremely difficult because the other party that the judge deemed "the victim" knew exactly how to get away with the physical, mental, and financial damage he caused me because he knows how to play this system.

2 /5 ron bolser: If you are in custody and these guys represent you...expect not to be seen before court, you will not have the chance to speak,no minute orders of what happened in court.They are under staffed over worked and will let the courts do to you what they want.The attorneys are of themselves good people and are actually good attorneys, but in Madera County, they seem to be limited

1 /5 Mark Fawcett: Im out of prison after doing 18 months. I was falsely accused of a terrorist threat that my appeal attorney is confident will be overturned in the next few months. I am positive of a good outcome also. I was represented by Doug Foster and Jonathan Richter. To say the least, I felt like I was not given a defense and railroaded. Unfortunately, this is the second time this happened except it was with the other contract defender and public defenders office. I cant say Ive been struck by lightning twice, or even once, but I can say Ive been to prison twice on false convictions. The attorneys are no where to by found.

3 /5 Jessica Samora: after a few phone calls your public defender will eventually call you back, thats will "eventually" its never a fast turnaround.

2 /5 Liszniansky Eric Cyrus (Cyrus the Servant of את‎): Non responsive, usually has a conflict of interest in my experience, perhaps because they are over loaded with clients due to the contract they have with Madera County California, who knows maybe they do not believe that some people are worth fighting for I dont know. I wish justice was for every one, apparently it is limited to the highest bidder in Mad town. The thing that disturbed me most about Cummo and associates is I would often hear and employee of thiers in the court halls say, "Welcome to the State of Madera".. I look for a state of Madera but did not find one in the Federal Registry , I did find a city and a county both named Madera located in the state of California and inseparable part of the United States of America, where the constitution is the supreme law of the land, perhaps the employees should take a refresher course on the constitutional bill of rights. Just to remind them of the limitations that are placed on The police, The District Attorneys , and even the Judges. In my experience they have lacked the knowledge to effect a proper challenge to violations of the bill of rights, your experience may differ.
