More specifically, attorney Marcelo Dieguez provided prompt (within a couple business days) services when I was considering /negotiating a new employment contract. I supplied a copy of the employment contract to him and had specific areas of the contract pointed out for him to review as well as specific questions prepared. Attorney Dieguez reviewed the contract and offered consultation in regards to specific employment contract questions. Attorney Dieguez helped me to understand the more complicated parts of the contract as well as let me know what parts were standard, what parts were non-enforceable, what parts were illegal, as well as explaining some of the potential consequences of signing the contract. In the end I was able to use his knowledge, experience, and advice to negotiate modifying a contract that best protects my career and that I was comfortable signing.
I am not rich yet wanted legal advice to prevent me from being locked into a contract that limits my career and I simply wanting to understand what I was about to sign.
