1 /5 Lisa Kellogg: Had to make a later payment and it didn’t get to my creditors for over two weeks causing issues on my credit report. Called in and spoke with a nasty person who told me it was my fault! I told her that they should let people know that it could take up to two weeks to make the payment so people can weigh whether they want to go through with it or not. As for the rep., she shouldn’t be in customer service.

5 /5 Kathleen Reyes: I was required to take this "class" via telephone to qualify for a re-fi. Tom was my first contact, and immediately put me at ease regarding the company I would be sharing information with. I was guaranteed none of my personal info would go farther than HUD. I made a phone appt. with the councilor (Ramona, I think), and her call to me was prompt on time. She explained the entire process in small sections, then asked me questions to be sure I understood, before proceeding to the next section. The entire process took about 45 minutes, at which time she told me I had passed the course, and the certificate would be sent to my e- mail. Bonus: in California, the class is FREE, whereas in many other states it costs $125 or more. I am pleased to offer this posting for Money Management International, and believe the type of class should be required for everyone buying or re-financing a property or home.
