This is by far the worst attorney I’ve ever had. I would have been better off with a public defender. (And I eventually did after firing her. The public defender even had it expunged for free.) Maria could barely speak English at a hearing. She didn’t bother getting the records of my breathalyzer. To prove there wasn’t intent. I was intoxicated. She doesn’t even review paperwork till the hour of. She has you hire a scam artist therapist. She would tell me the wrong court dates. I am shocked she is still practicing law and hasn’t been disbarred. She is preying on good people that have made a mistake. She did not defend me, had no power to negotiate. I had to plea no contest to a felony I didn’t commit. I paid for a crime I didn’t commit. She doesn’t bother obtaining evidence, she doesn’t bother calling anybody. I had thought because I never heard from her, that it was because she was doing her job. No, it’s because she wasn’t doing it at all. How many lives has she ruined? She is a criminal.
