I started a custom wedding ring project with Mansoor Fine Jewelry in early April, and the entire experience has been incredibly disappointing. Despite paying a $250 consultation fee—supposedly for CAD designs and professional services—I never received a single proper CAD drawing. Instead, I was given a low-quality image of a ring with a pattern drawn over it in what looked like Microsoft Paint, complete with hand-drawn carvings. That is not a CAD.
I didn’t hear any progress updates until June. At that point, I had to go through multiple phone calls and several in-person visits just to repeat the same design details over and over again. Each time, it felt like we were starting from scratch. Even after clearly outlining the design with four separate sketches, they managed to draw the wrong pattern on the image of the ring. I had to explain again which design I wanted—for the third time.
This level of disorganization and lack of professionalism is unacceptable, especially for something as meaningful and time-sensitive as a custom wedding ring. I’m deeply disappointed and would not recommend this jeweler to anyone expecting clear communication, professionalism, or attention to detail.
