As first time homebuyers, we were a bit unsure as to what to expect in regard to completing our off-market deal in going from tenants to owners of our rental home. She had some good advice which I didn’t listen to and got me in a little situation, but everything ended up ok and went smooth at the end. 100% recommended.

5 /5 Lisa Flohr: There were defects with the property and I had been in a lawsuit with the developer, so everything needed to be disclosed. Fortunately, my neighbor, who was a co-defendant in the lawsuit (his home had the same issues), offered to buy my house. Since I was not fixing anything in the house and offered to sell under market price, we chose not to use a realtor and do a for sale by owner. Had no clue where to start. The buyer had opened an escrow and so they were waiting on the paperwork. Marilyn helped me and explained everything to me. I was able to get the purchase agreement done and signed and submitted; I was able to get all of the disclosures and all the other paperwork done and signed. I had no idea that doing a for sale by owner, still required so much paperwork. I am forever grateful!.

5 /5 Diane Curtis: What could have been a nightmare house sale was in reality a no-pain transaction because of Marilyns knowledge, firmness and kindness. She knows her real estate law, and if shes unfamiliar with an issue, which happened in the case of my unusual reverse mortgage, shell do research until shes well-versed in the subject. Shes a staunch advociate for her clients without being rude or antagonizing people or companies that could be a roadblock to a final sale. An added bonus is that she responds quickly to email questions, so that there is confidence in the process and progress throughout the entire transaction. Highly recommended.
