5 /5 Lisa Flohr: There were defects with the property and I had been in a lawsuit with the developer, so everything needed to be disclosed. Fortunately, my neighbor, who was a co-defendant in the lawsuit (his home had the same issues), offered to buy my house. Since I was not fixing anything in the house and offered to sell under market price, we chose not to use a realtor and do a for sale by owner. Had no clue where to start. The buyer had opened an escrow and so they were waiting on the paperwork. Marilyn helped me and explained everything to me. I was able to get the purchase agreement done and signed and submitted; I was able to get all of the disclosures and all the other paperwork done and signed. I had no idea that doing a for sale by owner, still required so much paperwork. I am forever grateful!.
