1 /5 Brandon Martinez: I went to Ambrocio Rodriguez during one of the most critical and terrifying times in my life — at the beginning of a serious criminal case. I trusted him and his law firm with not only my freedom, but with hundreds of thousands of dollars, expecting competent legal representation. Unfortunately, what I received was nothing close to that.
From the start, Mr. Rodriguez failed to provide even the most basic legal guidance or strategy. He made no effort to walk me through the step-by-step process of how we would build a defense. For months, I was left in the dark with no communication, no updates, and absolutely no plan. Then, out of the blue, he calls to tell me my trial date was moved up by half a year — something I should’ve been preparing for long in advance. When I asked him what we should do, his response was essentially “nothing.” He told me there was nothing to prepare for until the trial came. That response alone proved just how little he was invested in my case.
He wasted my time, my money, and worst of all, put my future at risk. I ultimately had to hire a new attorney, Sanjay from Corona, who immediately gave me a clear plan, gathered critical evidence, and quite literally saved me from taking a wrongful plea and going to prison.
Ambrocio Rodriguez advertises himself as a high-profile attorney based on a few media appearances, but don’t be fooled — that is not an indicator of quality representation. In my opinion, he is not only ineffective but dangerously neglectful.
I would not recommend him to anyone — not for serious legal matters and not even for something minor. If you value your time, your money, and your freedom, look elsewhere.
