We accidentally sent a duplicate home insurance payment.
This agency denied receiving two payments despite depositing both our checks. Luckily, one payment was made by our Title Company who became involved on our behalf.
The agency then spent the next four months telling us "the check is in the mail."
After many phone calls and unanswered emails, a check finally arrived... and bounced.
Thats right, Allstate Insurance sent us a check that was returned for insufficient funds.
The agency still has our $1400, and our bank has made us $28 poorer for depositing a rubber check.
