1 /5 Sarrah Brown: They are a rip off! I brought my rings in because some diamonds were loose. I received an email stating it would be around $300 to fix. Great! A week later, I get a phone call saying it’s going to be at least $1050 or more to fix and take 4-5 weeks to complete. They would not acknowledge the email sent to me. I said send my rings back. They called said my rings were there. Well only my wedding band was there but not my engagement ring. They said I hadn’t confirmed if I wanted it fixed or not. If I don’t want one fixed, why would I fix the other one? So that took another week. No one takes responsibility. One associate said it shouldn’t be that much and she would call me in two days. Never heard from her. I took my rings to Ripon Jewelers on a Thursday, they called me on Friday to say it would cost $340 to repair BOTH rings. They couldn’t understand why Kay was charging so much. Ripon Jewelers even completed more on my ring. I had it back by Saturday. Three days total to repair my ring! What an amazing experience and almost a quarter of the price. I will never go to Kay Jewelers again due to their lack of customer service and trying to rip people off.

1 /5 Katherine Edmonds: This place is terrible and I only gave it a one star because I had to. I went in to buy a ring for my fiancé and before I purchased the ring, I made sure my mother would be able to pick it up because I don’t live in the area. They told me yes and said it would not be a problem. Well, I never even received a call informing me that the ring was in. So I called them seeing if the ring arrived. After they told me it was i informed them that my mom will be in tomorrow to pick it up and they told me that wasn’t allowed. AFTER I ORDERED IT AND MY WEDDING IS IN A WEEK! They won’t ship it to me or transfer it to another location (which corporate said they should). I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! They have terrible customer service and they clearly don’t know their policies. DO NOT GO HERE!

5 /5 Cindy Sadler: We were in and out in and out within 45 minutes. They had the ring I wanted, and several other pieces I had seen online. But I finally ended up on the one ring, got it, the extended warranty, and was a very happy camper. The service here was excellent!

1 /5 Julianne Gonzalez: Horrible experience. Just go to the one in Livermore. I wish I looked at the reviews before I went. I got my ring back over a week past the "promise date" and before that the repair shop sent back and empty box to the store. We had to call customer support and play phone tag with the repair shop.They are terrible at communicating with each other and their customers.

I went there to get a ring for my fiancé and an Asian lady name Sail was there’s I asked her to help me and she wasn’t very interested to show me anything I felt I was forcing her to do her job. And the next day when I took my fiancé herself and had Sail to show her the ring I chose for her and she told us “oh, it’s the same ring you looked the other day you know everything about it already” I felt very embarrassed in front of my fiancé and other people that was there. Never go there if you value your time and money. Horrible rude employee I have ever met.
