Emm23 Visited for the first time recently. I needed a gasket replaced on a watch and back cover to be placed. I like how the rep came back out to show me that the gasket was placed. Great price as well, as I had gone to two other places and feel as if I was being overcharged. Great fast service :)

Charlie Squire Lovely and super helpful experience! My (now) fiancé proposed with an 115-year-old antique ring he had purchased in Berlin, and it needed to be resized. Peter was able to both resize the ring and identify some structural issues that were corrected. Everything was clear, done quickly, and even came in under the price estimate! Will certainly be returning the next time I am in need of a jeweler.

Stefani Maine My fiancée and I got engaged without rings as we were selecting our own and had intentions to get custom made, rather nontraditional ones. We happened into this store just to browse and get inspiration, but she happened to fall in love with a unique ring in the case, so we bought it on the spot. It was very affordable and pretty, but the customer service was what really sold it for us. James was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and not at all pushy. We were so grateful for his easygoing nature, which made us both quite comfortable during our experience here. We had an extremely short deadline to get the ring due to conflicting travels, so he rushed the sizing adjustment at no extra cost and even cleaned our promise rings for us as we shopped! This is why we love to SHOP LOCAL!! Thank you James & team!

Claire H. My favorite jewelry store. Hugo is an artist and creates the most beautiful jewelry. I went to Ormachea to ask Hugo to design my wedding ring from a family heirloom . He created the most beautiful ring, I couldn’t be happier. He also designed the most beautiful and unique Mother’s Day ring for me with my daughters birthstone. It was so fun to create this ring as I was able to handpick the garnet that was used. Hugo, Bertha and family are so kind and welcoming. It’s a treat every time I step foot in their beautiful store.

Ruth Ann Barrett Must visit this shop in Santa Cruz. Sarah is top notch jewelry designer as well as a collector of objets dart which are not necessarily very pricey but you value for their beauty and craftsmanship. In addition to earrings I bought some wonderful Japanese incense, a small Asian inspired round wooden box with cover for my smaller earrings I wear frequently, and a long necklace to dress up some plain T’s I wear in the summer. I spent a good bit of time in the shop and enjoyed the conversation with Sarah as she re-strung one of her necklaces I inadvertently broke and which was a gift from a friend. Here are some pics of my “finds.” It took an hour to drive from the East Bay to enjoy the day at the beach to include, of course, a visit at the Salt Jewelry studio and then lunch!

Leniii I always go to this store and the employees are super nice and the customer service is amazing. But I recently went with my friend to icing , I am hispanic and she’s African American. As soon as we walked in the store this one cashier she’s a white older lady who has her hair dyed dark red and has tattoos on her arm, she gave us a dirty look and didn’t greet us. We felt unwelcome and stereotyped . As we were trying to shop she followed us and kept eyeing us , when she got a line she told another employee to follow us and stood so close to us . We were not stealing we were just trying to shop. It makes me mad when they assume you’re going to steal without proof.
