5 /5 Stephen Mann: I thank God for bringing Jennifer into my life half a decade ago, when she began representing me in my legal journey and culminating in a complete dismissal of the charges made against me.
My situation was a complicated matter seriously impacting my life, as I was facing 2 felony charges. It was Jennifer’s wisdom and tenured experience dealing with police officers that kept me from being arrested after she had taken up my defense. The Detective working my case decided to go back on his word and engage in underhanded tactics obtaining a warrant to arrest me the day before Christmas weekend. Under Jennifer’s counsel I was able to avoid a negative outcome, and instead post bail from the courthouse the day after Christmas. This guaranteed a record of no arrests/convictions and allowed me to maintain employment without issue. What I appreciate most about Jennifer’s advice is that always presented the situation as it was without selling false hope. She presented the facts at hand, the options available, and the course of action she would take to obtain the best possible outcome. This meant she was equipped with a plan A, B, C, etc.
Jennifer’s many years practicing law on both sides have brought her many relationships within the justice system. I believe these relationships to have played a paramount role in the positive outcome negotiated for me. Jennifer established an amicable line of communication to the D.A. who agreed to evaluate my difficult situation with an open mind. After 5 years of following up and overcoming the issues preventing a sooner resolution, Jennifer endured obtaining for me the most favorable of all results. Both charges against were dismissed.
