1 /5 Emily Malebranche: J.C. agreed to restore a scrimshaw pendant my grandmother gave me. Last July, he told me it would be a two week job. He has had my pendant for months and I have had to call him periodically to check in and he always says he is working on it. Now he won’t return my phone calls and I just want my pendant back, finished or not.

1 /5 Dorene Barasch: Sorry to give this review. I always had great respect for JC. After two years(over) many many phone calls my items left for repair were never returned. Whether they were completed or not after all of that time I just politely asked for them back by mail. I wanted to pay for shipping and any repairs as well as his trouble mailing them back. I moved three thousand miles away and could not pick them up myself. I understand that he had personal problems etc. however I am out my pieces and have had financial setbacks as we all have had in retail. Just mailing to me would have been very appreciated. I am so disappointed with gold works gallery. I
