2 /5 Xuan-Du Nguyen: Reached out for a quote after being referred and did some homework to see they had pretty good reviews. Getting a quote for home insurance is not supposed to be too tricky of a thing, but getting asked a series of questions over several emails I thought was a little unorganized, but fine for a quote. The agent (Jay) then started asking for more stuff than I believe was needed (since no other companies that shared quotes with me asked for any info like this) so when I asked if he really needed this for a quote, he simply ghosted me. I followed up 2 weeks later after not hearing back and he simply said that since I did not provide that information that they have closed their file. I replied 1 more time to clarify that I wanted to not waste HIS time for unnecessary info for just a quote but that if it was needed I would provide it. Weeks later and no response.
Do I care? No, not really. But I thought it would be fair for other potential clients to be aware of this before deciding to do business here if you ever start to feel like just another source of $ to them instead of them actually being in the business of helping people. I waited several weeks to post this to make sure it wasnt an emotional reaction to what felt like a rude interaction with someone that is in a CLIENT SERVICE business... either way, not something Id want to deal with long term.
