Charles J Leoni, Attorney At Law - Petaluma
Roni Noble Charles Leoni started out as an estate planning attorney for my in laws. He represented my now x husband in our divorce process. To me, Charles Leoni has never once showed any interest or concern in the wellbeing of our 3 children. Despite a just final divorce decree, Leoni continues to represent my x in our family law matters. I think the term is called protracted litigation. Leoni has not cooperated, nor has my x complied with (many) court orders. Leoni will stretch, through delays, continuances, broken agreements etc. a simple legal matter- as he has done with our case. Since I am unrepresented I believe it’s easier for Leoni to take advantage of the judicial system to “drag me through it”, and since he established the estate planning for my x ‘s family, he knows where the money is and how he can continue to collect from my x. Leoni has (verbally) attacked me in the courtroom before the judge as well as called me names in the hallways during a meet and confer more than once. He has served me several times with matters that could have been resolved with a discussion (not needing a court hearing!) and now, I have been warned, by his attorneys, that Leoni plans to file a personal lawsuit against me, (while still representing my X in contested child support matters). Charles Leoni is the foulest attorney I have ever been in contact with.

When I lost my son wrongful death claim was the furthest thing from my mind Id say it was non existent. His mother had tried to keep my rights as a father from me and her attorney had used tactics that potentially could have kept me out of loop. I went to this office to see if we could work together. The attorney assigned was very passionate about the case being a father as well. Even though I was brought in so late that it would be next to impossible to file he did it and he did well I never felt like he was only looking for pay check, in the end the office did the case for next to free for me they had taken what I owed them for the reports filed which cost money to file and charged me as if I was a minor to take Less money. He seen a man who was struggling in life who had just lost his only child and did everything even more then required of him to help. Thank you Ryan OConnell you had made what could have been a very stressful situation seem almost easy, however grey life was then going to your office felt comfortable even grieving felt better to do there. I Recommend this office to everyone. If you are looking for legal help for anything this office does if Ryan OConnell works there then that office is the best place to get help

kendra elliott I had started my custody battle with a more budget-friendly (ie: Better Call Saul) attorney. Midway through the process, I was able to afford better and reached out to a local Facebook group for family law recommendations and found Hills Law Group. I met with Max and Stacy and immediately I wished I had been able to go with them from the beginning. It was night and day (I guess you get what you pay for). Stacy and the team were always available, explained things very well, and helped me to wrap it up as expeditiously as possible. They were willing to fight for me, if thats what I wanted, but were forthright about how it could likely go. They were so helpful in planning my course of action. While I hope to never need them again, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend them to anyone going through child custody issues. They treat you like a person and that they care, whereas Ive spoken with more expensive ones (and less expensive ones) that were very curt and didnt show much empathy/ compassion towards one of the hardest times in my life.
