1 /5 Carol Nelson: I have never been treated like such a non-person as I was today at Umpqua Bank in Arcata. Not interested in customer service at all. More like how dare you walk into our bank without an appointment. Thank goodness we have a REAL community bank in Redwood Capital Bank!

1 /5 Lillith T: Curently is requiring people to take their mask off in store. Multiple employees are not wearing face mask. I genuinely use to love this branch which is why i went in to do banking however. Employee noted drs note for why face mask is not on however they weren’t practicing any safe social practices

5 /5 Jayce Walker: I have 2 business accounts here, great friendly service on a first name basis with much clearer and better organized statements than any bank Ive used. They are networked with a solid payroll company and helped me get my payroll handled efficiently and hassle free. I prefer to use a regional bank that doesnt invest in derivatives (or pipelines or set up phony accounts) like the big national banks do and have done. I prefer a more local community conscious approach to banking. I did my research on regional banks and how they operate, how safe etc. Umpqua came out on top...and my day to day experience with them has been a great!

1 /5 Patrick Rex: Very disappointed in this bank. My daughter had an account through the Learn 2 Earn program at school. I opened the statements from time to time just to check the interest being added, but otherwise she didnt use the account, was just letting the money build up she put in 3 years ago. I decided to open a statement today and found ALL the money was gone. When I called it was because she hadnt been using the account enough and the state took the money. We never saw a letter saying "immediate action required", or more importantly a PHONE CALL to your customer!! This was a 10 yr olds account and rather then making a solid attempt to reach your customer, you let the state take the childs money. I dont have a personal account with them, only my daughter did, but I will now never use them nor recommend anyone does after the poor attempt, well no attempt really, that they made to resolve the issue and just let the state take her savings, shame on you guys!
