5 /5 Sarah Dunn: Oh my GOSH!!! I LOVE THIS BANK SO MUCH!!! I was robbed via Apple Pay in another state, CCCU told me to file a police report, cops didn’t have enough to go off of so i went back to the folks at coast central and within a day they got me my money back!!!! I know this might not happen every time, but the fact i was able to go in and talk to a real compassionate team of people was so comforting. They took time to listen and went above and beyond to help me in the rough patch i was in. I cant even begin to express my gratitude. Absolutely amazing people every time. There’s no where else i trust as much as coast central, you guys are amazing, thank you so much!!!!!

1 /5 Don Boger: Absolutely the worse branch of all the Coast Central offices. Only really takes one bad actor to make the rest look bad. Honesty and trustworthiness are attributes all should carry when dealing with people. Integrity means everything.

1 /5 GROWING PROFITS: I came to Arcata on a weekend get away from los angeles. On Presidents Day weekend. The credit Union is a member network with my credit union so I can use their ATM for free. I headed over to the ATM because I was going to the casino and wanted to get some money out before I go. I tried to take out $500 the ATM took my debit card away suspecting fraud. Now I am stuck here in Arcata with no money. No way to buy gas to get home. I understand you guys suspect fraud because I am out ot town but let me clear it up with my credit union. Dont take my card and leave me stranded. And it is a holiday weekend so all your branches are closed on Saturday.

1 /5 Emily Scott: I banked here for five years and finally closed my account because I couldnt stand it anymore. Incompetent inexperienced tellers constantly making mistakes that cost me hundreds of dollars in penalties over time. No accountability on behalf of the bank except for when I when I was lucky enough to have recorded absolute proof of their operator error. CCCUs average for erroneous transactions was around 25% which is very bad average and seriously lacking professionalism when dealing with other peoples money. BUYER BEWARE!!! If you do bank here, ALWAYS ALWAYS double/triple check to make sure they did not mess things up and even then there is no guarantee your transaction is safe.

1 /5 Mark Sullivan: Clunky credit union with a sneaky penchant for raiding accounts with fees. Steer clear of this place. Youre better off with a national bank that has more regulator scrutiny. I was told to open a personal account in order to open a joint account with my wife so I did. Later, I realize that they are charging monthly account fees on the personal account but not on the joint. Turns out the personal account was being charged fees because I never received a piece of mail announcing the fees. Spent half an hour on the phone with customer service and learned this is apparently a serious revenue stream for them and they have revenue retention supervisors that block refund requests for arbitrary reasons. What a bad experience!
