1 /5 Jessica Marling: Such a horrible experience. Not even sure where to start. My mother passed and I was listed as the POD on her accounts. She had 3 accounts. I made an apt, was 10 mins late, I tried calling but went to the basic customer service line. When I got there my Banker was gone getting coffee, not sure why she didn’t call me directly since I had an apt, most places do that if you don’t show up. She would have then known I was running late. So I waited about 15-20 mins for her. Gave her my mom’s death cert and she said she would call me back once it’s been approved. I felt a little confused but left. Called my dad who then told me to go back as she should have gathered more info from me. Went back in and she said they will get it when I come back. I left again, then called their estate dept. Twice! And each person told me they have never seen this happen and to tell the Banker (Larin) to call them. My 3rd time going back to the bank and Larin clearly was annoyed with me. She also told me the manger couldn’t talk to me (go figure). I asked what the issue was and she said the death cert needs to be approved. How does a legal document need to be approved?!!! Finally got fed up and went to the Cameron park Chase where I was treated 1000000% differently. They took all my info, got on the phone with the estate dept. Told me what exactly was the problem (fraud dept had the account on hold), then they manager was nice enough to assist with her other 2 accounts and told me how to handle those. Completely different treatment, and why? I was never rude, I didn’t deserve any of this treatment. My heart is broken from losing my mother and this was how this place treated me, where is the empathy or professionalism? I hope Larin at Chase in placerville sees this and maybe she can learn from this. Same with the manager who clearly didn’t want to help me either. Larin was RUDE and SNOTTY, clearly annoyed by me and not helpful at all. And you still haven’t called me back like you said you would. For all you know I could still be waiting on your phone call. Every employee at Chase in Cameron park went above and beyond in helping me, and I am so thankful for them.
