We have a complicated situation with our son living in England where their inheritance laws clash with the common wording of California trusts. After an extensive search, Lalit was the only attorney who had the knowledge and expertise to deal with this issue. It was clear that we were on the right track when he recommended the same British attorney for consultation who we had independently found as an expert in transnational estate planning. Beyond this transnational complication, we have appreciated many of the qualities and practices of the estate planning team at Bridge Law. They were extremely thorough in looking at every detail of the documents. Lalit has an extraordinary ability to explain complicated legal issues in clear language for laymen. We appreciated the ability to give our input at all stages so that the final result was individualized for us and not just boiler-plate. In fact, a meeting to go over an initial draft that often takes an hour ran for 3 hours right through dinner time, with Lalit and Sabina assuring us that it was okay to continue until everything we had questions about was resolved. Added to this was the peace of mind arrangement that the entire estate planning package was being offered at a reasonable flat rate with no added costs for anything. Most of our meetings were conveniently held via Zoom, which was important to us as Bridge Law is about an hour from where we live.
