2 /5 Kerry Hurley: I wanted to open an account in the town where I just moved. Called local branch, got an automated message to call the corporate 800# and hung up on me...? Okay. So I called the corp. 800#. Pressed 0 for a human but its an invalid entry due to a survey they funnel you through. I do not want to partake in a survey, just have questions about opening an account! No way to opt-out of survey. I hung up, confused as to why its so difficult to reach a local branch to ask a simple question. I called one last time, no survey this time but hold time was 12 minutes.
If only they routed calls through local branches like Umpqua, this would have been easy! But instead, for what they feel is "big data" collection, they lost a new account. Bad service before I am even a customer is a HUGE red flag to me.
