1 /5 B A “Sunlight”: I was here a few days ago. I am sad to say the owner, Joesph is not an honest guy. A friend purchased her ring w/ him, she took me here. I feel like I was taken advantage of. I traded 3 -18k rings over 3 carats of diamonds and a lot of gold thinking I was getting an eternity band over 2 carat. After the ring was re-sized, he said it was 1 carat.
So basically I gave up over $7k worth of rings for $1,500 ring. I didnt sleep at all but I couldnt call him because he was already closed.
I didnt have a good feeling. So I called him right at business opening hours, he said he melted the 3 rings and cant not help me. I asked if I can get my gold and diamonds back. He said he resized the ring from 7.5 to size 5 (yet when I asked him for the extra diamonds, he cant give it to me because when they size it, its melted into almost nothing... ok then the extra little diamonds????). I feel so taken advantage of. I went online and other jewelry stores by Hill street and the exact same ring (except its over 2 carat or more for 1/2 the price he gave me mine).
The reason was my friend purchased from him, so I trusted him without checking other places and without bargaining with him. I didnt realized people can take advantage of others in such way. So unprofessional. I will definitely tell my friend not to bring her friends and fiancee there to get his wedding band. I am very sad and very disappointed at my experience.
