1 /5 Erik Johnson: Terrible service. I had a problem that might have taken me a max of 15 minutes. The first time I went in as a walk in with limited time and although I didn’t see anyone in there maybe somebody could help me in an hour. The next time I showed up after work just to see if anything might been available and I might have been there at 5:32 she said if I was only there at 5:30 someone could have helped me. They are open until 6. It seemed like she was more concerned about getting out of there early.

Also assisted me in acquiring an international drivers license for an upcoming trip. Very friendly and efficient!

5 /5 Guinevere Lucius: I am very pleased with AAA in San Rafael. I take care of registration and insurance needs here. The staff are friendly. The service is A+++. I would highly recommend them.

1 /5 Debbie McArdle: Kaiser provided a complete application fully executed by the physician for a temporary ADA placard and advised I take it to AAA across the street with whom they have a relationship for such issues. The placard is for a family member undergoing medical treatment unable to walk or or stand and mostly bed ridden. As his representative I expected to go there to complete the transaction. I was refused the placard because I did not have his physical drivers license or passport with me. I had a copy and they refused it stating it was a DMV rule. I went to DMV afterwards, stood in line for 2 hrs and obtained the placard with out his ID. The application was accepted because it was issued by a physician. CSAA made a simple process complicated and inconvenient for a family that is dealing with an emotional life treating condition of a loved one. How bad must you be to have DMV service out perform you! Bad call AAA!
