Acacia Syring We first retained Elizabeth for parenting plan modification in 2011 after meeting with several different lawyers in the area. From the start Elizabeth put us at ease with her knowledge and confidence and we felt right away that she was the right person to represent us. She made the court process easy to manage and kept us up to date on any new challenges or questions regarding our case, while also managing costs. Since 2011, we have had to return to court several times and there is no-one else we would go to for our needs.
During our most recent court case she navigated us through a rather complex case including child support, post-secondary support, and parenting plan modification. During this time, we were able to work also with her associate Jeremy who did an excellent job working with all the information we gave him and helping to construct a concise and professional statement for the courts. She was always efficient about keeping us informed and responding to our questions and concerns. She was upfront and honest about expectations and did not “over-promise” what we knew would be a difficult case. Despite this, she fought hard for us and in the end we are extremely happy with the result. She will not allow herself to be pushed around or manipulated by opposing counsel, and will not get flustered by their inappropriate comments, accusations or requests. We all know that divorce and custody disputes can be quite emotional and ugly, and it was a relief to have representation that put professionalism as a priority while at the same time ensuring that all of the pertinent information is provided for the court.
We have also been able to view Elizabeth represent us in court on several occasions during this case, as well view several other attorneys in the area, and I can say in full confidence that we chose correctly and had the very BEST attorney to represent us.
