5 /5 Vicki Shelton: My husband and I purchased a luxury home outside of Yakima, Washington and intended to use the sellers insurance company, given the price the owners quoted. Unfortunately, it was far from accurate, and we contacted all major insurance companies for coverage, given that we are in a flood zone, fire hazard area, and the property was heavy with trees. We were going to rescind our offer, but our Leavenworth, Washington agent referred us to Steve Birds and The Miller Agency. The cost was exactly as quoted, and Steve Birds found us a company that covered all of the contingencies.
