Karen Dieter I unfortunately was in a situation where I was grossly accused and ended up being arrested. I was appointed an attorney through the court, but I felt like I needed representation by an attorney that’s not loaded down with so many cases. It literally took me calling her few times because it was hard for me to talk about what happened that day and she waited patiently and was so reassuring that it was all going to be ok. I made an appointment to meet her at her office in Port Orchard, my daughter in law went with me because I couldn’t talk about what happened without breaking down totally, I was a mess, driving wasn’t on the table for me at that moment in time. We met with Greta, she gave me all the time I needed to talk about everything that happened to me. She didn’t make us feel rushed or that she was uninterested in helping me. My daughter in law was there when I was arrested, Greta took the time to hear what she saw and heard at the time as well. She was so understanding, she asked the right questions, and I felt like she would have my back 100%.. We hired her on the spot which was the best thing in the world! We left her office feeling good about everything.. Greta went right to work on my case, having me send pictures of my injuries, ordering the Sheriffs body cam footage and my medical records along with all statements made that terrible day. She kept in touch with me every step of the way, via phone and text which is how I preferred to be contacted. When I had questions, I would text and she would respond promptly, I felt like she really cared about helping me out of this horrible situation. Once she received all the pictures, footage, statements and medical report she built my case and sent it over to the prosecutor, after the prosecutor reviewed the case she presented, my case was thrown out. I feel so much better having worked with Greta and her team to bring this awful incident to a close. I don’t know what would have happened if it weren’t for Greta, it was a very scary situation for me and Greta made me feel so much better about everything while she worked my case. It took 32 days from day we chose to hire Greta to the judge dismissing all charges on the case. If I didn’t have Greta, I would be still waiting for my first court date with the appointed attorney a month from now! I will shout this from the rooftops if you need an attorney that actually has your back and will work hard for you, you only need to make one call to Greta Coleman at LaCross & Murphy! There are not enough words to express how amazing she is, and how I felt knowing she was on the case. Greta is the absolute best! If you ever find yourself in need of a criminal attorney, don’t hesitate to call Greta, she is the real deal.
